He brings a fresh enthusiasm along with a real passion for KISS. We're looking forward to helping him get settled in and to developing a stable and positive life with us here in Cleveland. The decision to bring him aboard took some time but we're extremely optimistic about our future together. With continued support from everyone at KFS and beyond I know that we're going to have another amazing year paying tribute to KISS.

We're performing for a private event at the House Of Blues here in Cleveland. As far as any expos are concerned it will depend on our schedule as to whether or not we'll be involved. There are a lot of different dynamics at work that could see fewer of the events from what I've been told but if time permits we would love to be there. Merry Christmas to you as well and everyone in KFS-land!

Tina and I flew down with Andrew to help him move back here to Cleveland. So while our visit was short and under the radar we did manage to visit the coffeehouse, take in dinner at Nakato and lunch at Uno's before heading back. If there is a celebration this year I can't say for sure if we'll be involved at this time. We may just visit there as we've done many times over the past 10 years or so.

There really aren't any obstacles with Andrew. There is also a "feeling out" process but again when change is in the wind you know fairly quickly how things are going to go. Having our routine pretty well set in stone doesn't necessarily mean that we won't compromise with ideas that a new member may suggest. Andrew has already proven to be an invaluable addition to MR.SPEED. We will only get stronger as we get a few more shows under our spandex (so to speak).

We have constant discussions about how to improve our stage set up. Just yesterday Tina, Andrew and myself were discussing a new drum riser. That will probably be the first thing that we set out to accomplish. We'll need to get a few shows out of the way to financially make it possible but we're constantly looking to improve the show.

For a whole lot of reasons too. With KISS there have been numerous style changes over the years and if for instance we wanted to do something from "Animalize" besides "Heavens On Fire" we had to trust that Joe was able to handle the lead guitar work of Mark St.John. Another example might be a song like "Rise to It" from "Hot In The Shade". I think musically we could pull it off but the vocals might be a bigger challenge. Now that Andrew is in the band we have a whole new desire and ability to approach any song from KISS' catalog. He has strengths and weaknesses that we can play off of while working on improving ours as well. In the end the result will be a better band both personally and professionally.
