Ooops, that was supposed to say "suck". Damn fingers!

I really like to re-recorded tunes. I haven't been able to obtain a copy for myself as of yet, though I came close in Myrtle Beach. All in good time. From the snippets that I heard on KOL I thought that Gene sounded like the Gene of old which is a good thing. I did some of it while at the coffeehouse last week too.

The farthest we've been away from home to perform aside from Puerto Rico was Los Angeles. We performed in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. at a KISS Tribute Night put on by a minor league baseball team. It just so happened that Tina and I were married at the same event...at home plate! It was quite an event and there was even a fireworks display after the ceremony to cap things off.

How far would we travel to perform? That really depends on a number of things these days. Of course compensation plays a big role in the decision making process. Members availability is important too. We all have day jobs and our tribute is our hobby on the weekends. We also want to make sure that the event that we're performing at is the right kind of forum for us to get involved with. We get requests all the time to play all kinds of parties and even weddings. But many of you only see the end result and are not aware of everything that goes into putting on a show. So there are a lot of dynamics that need to fall into place in order for the show to go on. I've always said that "I'd play in your bathroom if it paid well".

Over the years I've watched so much footage. Before DVD's were so popular all that we were bootleg videos...please don't let Gene read this. Now that KISSOLOGY is available in three different versions it really doesn't get any easier. I've also been fortunate to have seen the band 45 times in concert which I'm sure helps in some small way.

I'm not sure that I would call what we "spot on" but thank you nonetheless. There is always room for improvement in my book.
