Personally I'm not about competing with anyone for the "Paul" role with anything. I feel very fortunate to be able to do what I do with MR.SPEED. I would welcome a chance to contribute to something that might give fans enjoyment and give it 110%.

Of course it would be unusual to separate the rocker from the artist because I'm more used to the rocker side of Paul. But due to our lives and the logistics of his events it hasn't worked out for us to be able to attend one...yet. Likewise, as much as we would love to have one of his pieces here in our home our spare change purse usually doesn't hold as much as one of those are commanding in price. Maybe Santa will one day bring one through the front door, our chimney is a little tight.

To be honest I first saw KISS on the Dynasty tour in '79 so I have an affinity for those outfits. I think that it would be cool to see the top piece that he wore in black as opposed to purple. I think then it would have the appearance of a more "classic" KISS costume and not the Vegas-ey piece that it's been referred to. But for me those outfits hold a special place in my heart.

New England was the opening band and they were great too. I had a backstage pass and everything but was denied access to meet the band. My friends uncle was good friends with Hank Schmel who at the time was KISS' pyrotechnician.

The fact that we had to rearrange our schedule here at home, drive through the night, elude a tropical storm, evade personal conflicts and still manage to step on stage ready to fight is in my opinion a real testament to the integrity that we have with this band. These are the kind of situations that build character and we did what we set out to do and in the end we feel that we won. Honorable mentions were having Keith move Joe and I to the front of the line to meet Tommy and having him remember speaking to me some years ago. I too was a Black 'N Blue fan going back to the "Without Love" album and I mentioned that to him. Lastly, just knowing that our band is appreciated by KISS fans everywhere really does mean a lot to me. I don't think that many people realize just how much of our time we devote to keeping this band going and when we can touch people that feel the same way that we do for KISS it really makes it all worthwhile. I hope that is the answer that you were looking for?

With everything that is happening with the weather in the country right now we really dodged a bullet and as much as coming back from a vacation sometimes seems like a downer we know that we were fortunate to have had them time that we did. We were even invited guests on Saturday at Hard Rock Park! Two employees from the park saw our show last Saturday and asked how they could book the band. We gave them a business card and on Friday we received a call from their talent director. He invited us to meet with him and allowed us access to the park to enjoy everything that it has to offer. The highlight was "Led Zeppelin - The Ride"! The complete experience from when you walk in to the line to getting instructions to getting on board was awesome. You listen to "Whole Lotta Love" as you ascend the first hill and can't help but let go on the climactic "Loooooooooooooooove" as the coaster goes over the first hill! Of course we all started talking about a KISS coaster as soon as we got off of it. But what a great way to spend our last day. I have already submitted a proposal that we hope is going to lock us in for a visit to the park next year as entertainers. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Over the years they have made picks for many of KISS' tours. We don't go through as many as KISS does so we usually place an order every year or so. I went with the same color scheme that Paul did on his "Live to Win" tour and it's my understanding that they used the same pick and same ink on my order that they used on Paul's.
