Positively Demonic

While most fans prefer the original line-up, and I for one am thrilled that I got to see it, it is fairly obvious that Bruce, Tommy and the Erics have/had more ability to bring the goods (especially live) than Ace and Peter. I say that with love and respect for Ace and Peter's contribution to the band. Each of them played an important role and brought their own talents and creativity during their tenure. It's just that if you compare MUSICALLY, it's really not even close. I cannot wait to see this line-up live!!! My 1st KISS concert was in 1992, and musically they were a force with which to be reckoned!!! The next time I heard them sound THAT tight was in 2004 at the PNC Bank Arts Center. I saw them 8 times with the reunited lineup, and 5 times in 2003. All were excellent concerts. That said, there's something about Tommy, Bruce, and Eric Singer that just makes the music so tight to my 2 ears.

RMBGD wrote: I am a bit disappointed in a new KISS CD let alone Tommy and Eric portraying Ace and Peter. Can anyone convince me to look deeper into the new music and to see the show in Cleveland? The new track does sound good (interesting to see Mr. Speed play some songs from Sonic Boom), however, I have my sights on the new Ace Frehley CD, especially the packaging. Music sounds great, better than his previous solo efforts spite the time lapse. Thanks for understanding.

Next, the new single does sound great, however, I have yet to hear more for myself to further convince me to purchase the CD and/or tix. This wasn't intended to lash out at the KISS Army, this site and the die-hard fans. I am just doing my best to see that, yes, it is worth the $$$ regardless who is playing with Gene and Paul. Hell, I have the make-up and non-make-up KISS music. Right now, I am just working on seeing the bigger picture. Hope this can be reasonable and to compromise on this topic. Last thing regarding my original statement wasn't to create a rift. If it has, by all means, please delete this post/topic. If an apology needs to be in order, then I will happily propose one. Thanks.
