:nwk Marie, what do you expect from Pete this time around?

Although I'd most like to hear a jazz CD from him, by all accounts, this seems like it will be a ballad CD.
Still looking forward to it with ecstatic anticipation though - strong gentleness - *melt * :ice

:nwk out of his past works, which would you be most looking forward to.

Wow, many good songs on his past solo efforts, but I keep going back to "Hooked On Rock and Roll" and "Tossin and Turin" - fun, upbeat songs. :dance

The songs I'm most looking forward to hearing on his new CD are the title track, "One For All" which, according to the recent report, was recorded with the Church of Transfiguration Boys Choir and was written in the wake of 9/11. Kleenex anyone ?
"Space Ace" - looking forward to the lyrics and the sound of that one. :biggrin
"Heart Behind the Hands" - curious about the lyrics - gotta be about his own hands - the hands of a drummer who plays through his heart. But maybe it's about someone else's hands - spiritual perhaps ?
"Send in The Clowns" - classic - can't go wrong with that one, esp. from someone who's no stranger to facial paint to entertain people.

:nwk PaulSchaffer and Will Lee are pretty cool.

Ohmygosh, exactly ! Both are brilliant musicians ! Peter was lucky to have them on board on this one.
According to his Perfect 10 magazine interview from last Oct., Peter said that keyboardist, Clifford Carter is on the CD. Clifford played for James Taylor and reportedly, Clifford arranged the keyboards and strings to some of the songs on Peter's CD.
Peter said he also has a duet with Jennifer Johnson, but didn't say what song.
She has a nice voice - love the musical accompaniment of her songs :

Best quote from Peter from the Perfect 10 magazine interview about "One For All" :
"It's a ballad CD. Autobiographical. I wrote songs for my wife, Mom, the band, the fans, life, God, I even wrote a song for Ace Frehely. It's all from the heart. It's all good. It's all Peter Criss."

Best quote from the recent online article announcing the release date of his CD :
"...Says Criss: "The most important thing is that my fans and other people will get a whole new outlook on me with this CD. I'm reinventing myself at my own pace, and for me, it's now, more than ever, about being true.".."

Hoping that "One For All' has a drum solo in it, even if it's just a brief one and if not, that Peter will record one for a future CD. :)

Also, I hope he eventually records, "Little Drummer Boy" -it's taylor made for him.

Peter is so versatile - rock, jazz, balads..songs for everyone to enjoy. :dream
