MUSICALLY SPEAKING, this line-up may be up there with the Bruce/Eric S. line-up from the Revenge era. I think that line-up was an absolute machine. While most fans prefer the original line-up, and I for one am thrilled that I got to see it, it is fairly obvious that Bruce, Tommy and the Erics have/had more ability to bring the goods (especially live) than Ace and Peter. I say that with love and respect for Ace and Peter's contribution to the band. Each of them played an important role and brought their own talents and creativity during their tenure. It's just that if you compare MUSICALLY, it's really not even close. I cannot wait to see this line-up live!!!

My 1st KISS concert was in 1992, and musically they were a force with which to be reckoned!!! The next time I heard them sound THAT tight was in 2004 at the PNC Bank Arts Center. I saw them 8 times with the reunited lineup, and 5 times in 2003. All were excellent concerts. That said, there's something about Tommy, Bruce, and Eric Singer that just makes the music so tight to my 2 ears.
well said guys
