last week Itunes sold 37,000 MJ songs

they sold more than 2.3 million digitally downloaded songs since his death.

why, did his music get better after he died...no of course not.

there are a few things at play here.

for many of us between Farrah and Mj passing, we are more aware that our time is getting closer.
we are buying nostalgia and our youth back. It's the truth.

Also, for some reason , people are wanting to forget the "lifestyle" of MJ. he was a weirdo. no doubt about it. Being a weirdo does not make one a threat to children.

I have heard folks say, that there was no valid proof for what did happen, even though 20 million in funds were paid out.
even though Jacksons body guards held folks hostage and basically made some folks lives hell, some say there was no conviction so nothing happened, well there was no conviction on Joe Jackson and we know that something happened there as well.

even if nothing happened, his legacy will always be tainted by his foolishness, being interviewed saying that everyone should sleep with children was stupid.

during the trial, it did come out that MJ had pornography and that the kids fingerprints were on it, molestation....not sure, but huge stupidity on his part.

on the Today show, they showed a woman who came all the way from Austraila just so she could be here "for Michael"

she never knew him, he did not know her. she felt strongly enough to come to cali to see what, i dont know. MJ , like Elvis , has already left the building

You're right, but somehow it does. And it's going to be the same with a Gene Simmons/Paul Stanley. It just is. Fans will always come out and mourn the loss of their idols passing

i agree, i understand grieving and missing someone , with Lennon, his death singled the end of the Beatles. changed what might have been. I understand tears, i understand mourning, but at some point, if anything make a death count, do something with it, i don't even care if it's dancing

everyone has a price and BOTH sides agreed to it.

also there were charges that Jackson's body guards and the Private detectives made peoples lives a living hell

and if MJ can afford to lose a mere 20 mill. then that means he has alot more to bury you with and hold you in litigation for years

Remember, those families were leeches and why is it that out of how many kids he molested allegedly, only two came forward? Why is it that the stories of Jackson's abuse of children came after employees were fired after they 'caught' him? If you caught someone molesting a child, you wouldn't wait until a media outlet would offer you money for your story, would you?

perhaps it had something to do with no one believing them until others came forward. like sometimes one woman is raped, and comes forward , then others find the courage to do so.

Neither you or I were in the court but the book has court transcripts and Meserau wrote the foreward. Why is it that the media focused less on the fact that the mom was a controlling bitch who taught her kids to parrot what she said? The media plays up his wackier side while paying little if no attention to the various charities he donated to. Even I, as a skeptic in the 2004 case was turned off by what was clearly bias.

I am not denying that letting your kids stay over MJs place was a smart move on both parties parts but why is it that one family admitted that it was a hoax and Sneddon actually smiled that he wanted to nail Jackson for all he had.? That doesn't sound like something Superman or Spiderman would do.

The "reporter/Author/Apologist" lost ALL credibility when she said that she would let her children SLEEP with Michael Jackson.

I know a family who lost a child do to a truck driver driving drunk, they wanted him ruined and destitute for what he had done to their family.
