As much as I didn't support his current lifestyle choices, I will always be a fan of his music. He'll definitely be missed.

I have never liked him or his music, for the exception of Thriller (and that is only good about once every other year). However, I do hope that he rest in
peace.

What a day!!!
I liked Michael way back when... You know, growing up listening to the Jackson Five... Off The Wall was a GREAT album, and Thriller, Wow! Despite several years of "weirdness"; ( I just can't comprehend), he was an amazing talent! May he now rest in peace. I got a couple dents in my fender

I've never been into MJ's music very much except of "Thriller", "Beat It", "Billie Jean" and a couple of another songs..
But his death is quite shocking to me, I just can't believe it.. We lost Farrah too which was sad to me as well, but this is absolutely unexpected..
It's horrible. I can't believe it.
It's very very sad that Michael never got a chance to do his big comeback he planned for July.. Because I believe that he'd be back in all his glory. However, it won't happen now RIP
I'm most afraid of living a
dead boring average life.

What unexpected sad news.
This morning ,the girls and I get in the car to do the school drop off and the radio DJ informs us tht MJ had been rushed to hospital with a suspected heart attack.By the time I dropped Caitlin off at the bus stop and Tara at school - all of five minutes - they were saying he was dead. What a shock. I was never a huge fan and I must admit his personal life put me off somewhat but he was a great talent.I did see him in 1987 during his Bad tour and he just blew me away. I just hope he has now found the peace that he seemed to be looking for in life. |

I really never had a chance to know the King of Pop. I did know the MJ that was under speculation in court, though.
Quite a loss, he had good songs. may he rest in peace. |

Indyrockfan wrote: And the rumors have started already. One anchor person brought up the possibility of anorexia possibly weakening his body. CNN had a Rabbi who was once a close adviser to MJ (during the court case in 2005). The Rabbi said he predicted Michael's death. He raised the question of the abuse of prescription drugs. Which is why he distance himself from Michael. Another insider said MJ's treatment by those close to him makes the Anna Nicole case seem pale in comparison. It's sad that the memory of a man as talented as him will for be tinged by this. God help his children to cope and be strong. forget the overalls...I want to be the spandex

from Paul McCartney:
Former Beatle Paul McCartney, who recorded with Jackson before they had a falling out over ownership of the Beatles catalog, said his prayers went to Jackson's family and fans. "It's so sad and shocking," he said. "I feel privileged to have hung out and worked with Michael. He was a massively talented boy-man with a gentle soul. His music will be remembered forever and my memories of our time together will be happy ones." |

Love or hate him no one can deny the extraordinary talent MJ had. He was denied a childhood to entertain millions around the world.

I really admired his work, it's a tragedy we lost Michael at such a young age. http://twitter.com/ace_frehley
