I love "All American Man" and "Rocket Ride" the best, but all five tracks are killer.

I liked Rocket Ride but since seeing KISS Play ALL American Man I like that one too. I liked hearing Bob Kulick's accounts of those times.

Side 4 of Alive II I've got to be in the mood for. The songs are cool but not really among my all time favorites.

I just listened to all 4 sides of ALIVE II the other night. All American Man and Rocket Ride are great and the others are decent.

Side 4 of Alive II is some of my favorite music from the band if they made a hole album with songs like these back in the 1070's it would be sure to be my
favorite LP by the band.. The only thing I can think of that's better are the Demo's of the same songs from The Lost Alive II bootleg CD.. I love every
song from side 4 of Alive II, It is KICK ASS!!!

Alive 2, side 4 definitely butters my parsnips. Rocket Ride is my favourite Ace tune.

All of the 4 songs kick butt. It had the John Bonham style in it as specially in Larger Than Life song!
I wounder if they didn't record Dynasty,Unmasked & The Elder and did the Creatures Of The night album after the Alive II. Would they still had the strong fan base that happened after The Elder came out?

Until this weekend, I hadn't listened to Alive II since my 8-track tape days (1980ish). I've owned the CD for ages, mainly to learn the drum parts for
the studio side 4. I also like I Stole Your Love from the live part.
When I was a teen I enjoyed all the studio songs. Nowadays AAM and RR are the tracks that still reach me. LOL- there's a reunion jam clip where Ace/Eric start the first few bars of Rocket, and stop. Paul tells the audience something like, "You've had enough of that." Ouch. I read in the Kiss authorized bio (Kiss Behind the Mask) RR is an Ace and Peter gig. Great tune, though. Great guitar and drum fills. Oh, I read last night that Kiss had recorded or was going to record Jailhouse Rock for inclusion but left it off because Elvis had just died... if that recording existed, I've never heard it. Would have been great, and I think it would have been a sign of respect including it. Maybe they didn't want to be (or be perceived as) making money off The King at that time.

i remeber there was something so differant sounding on side 4 and it was the production. it was just the best i had hear at the time and did love that side
alot .they really nailed down there sound there . some how they lost it in later recordings ..I also think anton fig played on the drums cause they sound to
good to be peter..but I agree great side to the live album
