it's 2009. we see on the news describing REAL LIFE mutilations, rape and lots of other crimes displayed on public television almost everyday where everybody can come across it at any age and we have these so called "high profile" people complain about this?! it boggles my mind and angers me that the likes of KISS, Marilyn Manson and Ozzy Osbourne get grief when they innocently do their thing! these guys make music that makes them and their fans feel good and put on spectacular shows for one reason, ENTERTAINMENT! people like seeing the obscene, larger than life, spectacular things these guys do. anybody who sees this in person pay to see the concert where as on TV, you can turn it on for free with just a push of a button to see disturbing things displayed on the news. i never see the the uptight media nit and pick at the disturbances seen on TV or movies where those things aren't just described, they're visualized and shown to people in a detailed nature. those are visuals and fantasies of one's own imagination being put to reality for christ sakes! but no, they're fine. it's the music that poison's our youth's mind and makes everyone that happens to be a fan go crazy. i'm not saying that movie/TV creators should be criticized because i enjoy that kind of stuff i see on it. but that's the thing, me and many other people in the world simply just enjoy it! just because we enjoy those violent things doesn't mean all of us are gonna run around and act on it! if there were cases of someone taking influence off music/movies/TV to their crimes, they were insane to begin with. it wasn't the entertainment they looked at because obviously they didn't know or really cared to understand or follow what's right and wrong. i just don't understand why these people focus on the simple innocent nature of a song and performance when they have other forms of entertainment being much worse that get away with it. like i said on my first words before this damn rant lol, it's 2009, we've pretty much seen it all. they say we humans adapt to our surroundings, i say it's time for us to adapt!

KISS will always prevail though. at least it's just one closed minded individual that's been outvoted rather than a whole group of people. KISS will most likely show that person that they always do good no matter what
