Okay, just to warn everyone, this will be pretty lengthy, but here goes! The day started with those with VIP passes getting in at noon, and let me tell you, there were a lot of us! Then at 1:00, general admission fans were coming in. It wouldn't have surprised me if the expo was actually sold out - the room was packed! There were several vendors there and a ton of really cool Kiss stuff to choose from! And Bill Starkey was on hand and mingled with the fans throughout the day - it's always cool to see him!

Bruce Kulick came in after 1:00 or so and there was a long line waiting for his meet and greet! So after an hour or so went by, Bruce shares with all of us a slide presentation of a bunch of photos he took when he was overseas with Eric Singer, John Corabi, etc. during the ESP tour! He took some really cool pics! During his discussions, Eric Singer called in and spoke with Bruce for a moment, and Eric gave all of us fans his best regards! Bruce also answered several questions during his Q&A. At around 4:30, Keith Leroux shows us fans some VERY exclusive behind-the-scene videos he took of Kiss' tour last year! One part was of a photo shoot while they were in Japan. Another was of a sound check before a show in Vegas, and a couple of songs from a concert in Oberhausen! The guys looked and sounded incredible! Also, the big news from Keith was that Kiss was in the studio yesterday, with two songs down and a third one being recorded that afternoon!

Then the moment came for the big give-away … the Paul Stanley Preacher guitar! A ticket was drawn, and the name was called out … "Andrew S." Well guess who that is? Andrew from MR. SPEED! It was incredible! He was so excited to win it! Congratulations, Andrew!

Now it was Mr. Speed's turn to take the stage and rock the crowd! The fans were all standing right up close to the stage (looked like at least 20-30 people deep), and me being so short, I found a chair to stand on behind Mr. Speed's table which was near the stage, and that was my perch to catch my favorite tribute band and friends in action! They had an incredible set list, which started off with one song from each of Kiss' solo albums, (including Andrew's rendition of "Tossin' and Turnin" - which rocked!) and then the entire "Hotter Than Hell" album! It was so cool - the guys did an unbelievable job and were having so much fun with it! Well, the guys decided to throw in a surprise during the song "Hotter Than Hell" - at the chorus in the middle of the song, they started singing "rip, rip, rip and destroy" a line from the "Phantom" movie! Totally unexpected and it was absolutely hilarious! The crowd just went nuts when they heard it! I loved it! The crowd was shouting for an encore, and they performed a couple more songs, including "Love Gun" and "King of the Nighttime World". After the show, the guys came over to their table and signed a bunch of autographs and took photos with fans. It was a great ending to a great day with Kiss fans and all things Kiss!

Finally, it was so nice to have met several of my fellow KFS friends this weekend! It was a fantastic weekend, and hope to see all of you again soon!
